A video being shared on various social media showing a leaking roof at airport was not recorded at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has clarified.
According to different sources, the video was allegedly recorded at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in neighboring Kenya.
The video pictures show water outpouring from a roof of what looks to be an airport lounge.
UCAA in a statement said: “Please ignore the trending video of an unfortunate situation at an airport in a neighbouring country, which some WhatsApp users have wrongly attributed to Entebbe International Airport. Note that this is not Entebbe International Airport.”
