Uganda Foreign Missions Heads Tour Oil Fields
The Petroleum Authority of Uganda is leading a delegation of Uganda Foreign Missions heads for a three-day field visit to the oil and gas operational areas in the Albertine Region.
Ruth Nankabirwa, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development flagged off the delegation on Tuesday flagged off at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Kampala.
Nankabirwa urged the Foreign Missions officials to use the opportunity to apprise themselves of Uganda’s Oil and Gas Sector and relate it to global issues so that they become Uganda’s champions for the Sector.
Vincent Bagiire, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is leading the visitors’ team while Ali Ssekatawa, the Director Legal and Corporate Affairs at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda, leads the entire team.
