China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Uganda Ltd held the Kingfisher Oilfield Drawing competition where 30 students from 17 schools in Hoima and Kikuube exhibited their artistic understanding of the project.

The event was attended by Fan Xuecheng from the Chinese embassy in Uganda & Liu Xiangdong, the President of CNOOC Uganda Ltd.

Xuecheng introduced the latest outcomes of FOCAC Nine Programs & Cooperate Social Responsibilities by Chinese Companies in Uganda, in the field of education, health care, employment, environment conservation, and infrastructure, among others.

Xiangdong reiterated their CSR commitment to create more jobs for Ugandans, protect ecology, skill transfering and others. He also stressed with joint efforts of China-Uganda, the oil project goes on well and the oil dream of Uganda will take off soon.
