Eastern districts inseminators receive liquid nitrogen under the community based breeding programme

In a bid to to advance Uganda’s livestock sector, National Animal Genetic Research Centre and Data Bank (NAGRC&DB) has successfully concluded a major liquid nitrogen distribution drive under our Community-Based Breeding Program (CBBP). The exercise targeted Amolatar, Kalaki, Kibuku, and Bukedea districts, delivering vital liquid nitrogen a key preservative for genetic materials and cryopreservation to; District Local Governments supporting farmer groups under the Parish Development Model  Individual smallholder cattle farmers This intervention enhances genetic preservation and supports sustainable livestock breeding across communities.
