National Science Week June 2025
National Science Week 2025, held in Uganda from June 15th to 20th, focused on showcasing the nation’s progress in transforming homegrown scientific ideas into market-ready products and technologies. The event, themed “Made in Uganda: Innovation to Market,” featured over 300 Ugandan innovators, researchers, and students, highlighting advancements in areas like renewable energy, health technologies, agriculture, and artificial intelligence. A key aspect of the week was the National Science Summit, which included panel discussions and live demonstrations of pioneering technologies. The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) also participated, offering guidance on intellectual property rights and innovation protection
