Namboole To Test Readiness With Premier League Matches
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has revealed that Mandela National Stadium (Namboole) will host two StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) matches on 1st May 2024.
The double header will test the readiness and ability for the renovated stadium to host football action.
According to FUFA, the selected games will see BUL FC host Vipers SC at 4pm and later KCCA FC taking on SC Villa at 7pm.
“The two games will serve as part of the test events before the official re-opening of the stadium. The test events are some of the requirements by Confederation of African Football (CAF) before the greenlight to host international games is granted,” FUFA said.
