NFA and Tour Operators to promote Eco Tourism

National Forestry Authority together with Association of Uganda Tour Operators have agreed to collaborate on promoting sustainable ecotourism in Uganda’s CFR.   This was during a strategic meeting between the Executive Director NFA Stuart Maniraguha and AUTO Ceo Matilda Iremera were they discussed joint efforts to market forest-based tourism, conserve biodiversity & support local livelihoods.

The two organizations will form a joint working group to identify priority ecotourism sites, improve infrastructure, and develop promotional materials. NFA is also set to launch a central ecotourism reservation system in August 2025.
