UWA and Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) renewed their partnership at UWA headquarters by UWA Executive Director Dr. James Musinguzi and CTPH CEO Dr. Gladys Kalema Zikusooka, to tackle zoonotic diseases and prevent disease transmission between humans, wildlife, and livestock.

 Dr. Musinguzi highlighted the success of conservation efforts, including the improved status of mountain gorillas, while Dr. Kalema emphasized the importance of continued collaboration for public health and wildlife protection.
