UEDCL launches Large Power Users Office at the UMA grounds

Today, Hon. David Bahati, Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, together with Hon. Okaasai Opolot, State Minister for Energy, graced the 2025 Electricity Dialogue held at the UMA Multipurpose Mall. The event brought together key sector players and manufacturers to deliberate on strategies to enhance reliability, foster synergy, and explore innovative solutions to strengthen Uganda’s energy sector. The dialogue was sponsored by UEDCL in partnership with the Uganda Manufacturers Association.
In addition, the Ministers joined the UEDCL Senior Management team to officially launch the UEDCL Large Power Users Office at the UMA grounds. This new office is designed to enhance customer service by bringing services closer to industrialists and manufacturers.
