Launch of the PFM reform strategy

Government through ministry of finance planning and economic development has  continued to automate public financial management processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, enhance transparency and accountability in the collection and use of public funds. PFM systems have been upgraded/enhanced to support the implementation of the NDP III and IV programme approach to planning, budgeting, budget execution, and reporting of results across Government. The government has deepened the use of digital systems to strengthen controls in Public Financial Management (PFM). These include: Integrated Financial Management Systems (IFMS), Electronic Government Procurement (eGP) systems, and Payroll control systems like Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
