CNOOC Gets Lincense To Produce LPG
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Ruth Nankabirwa, on Tuesday, handed over a construction license for the Natural Gas Conversion facility to CNOOC Uganda.
The license will enable CNOOC to construct a 500bn cubic fit facility, producing 20,000 tons of LPG per year.
CNOOC said the license issuance marks a major milestone in the journey to producing energy for Uganda and is in line with their vision of ‘energy for a better future’.
